Every sunday in The Shoreditch is the The Jazz Meet. A place to come drink some beers and listen to some excellent jazz players. On Sunday I dropped down to see what was going on and ended up staying for the whole evening and night, enjoying the music and dancing.
There is a really inclusive feeling to the event, the crowd cant help but be enthralled by the energy created by the music, the shear joy of the players and the fantastic Jazz dancers.
The jazz dancing by the Guest DJ Kola Obidgon and Tamayo Yamano, both from JazzCoTech Dancers were explosive. If you have a few minutes, check out the video to get a sample of what to expect below.. wait for the huge jump towards the end…
Enjoy, and see you at the next Jazz Meet, for more details and some excellent podcasts check out: www.thejazzmeet.com.
